We offer a wide range of ceiling systems to suit a variety of different projects. We specialize in the installation of metal frame suspended ceilings which provide service voids for lighting, heating and ducting.

When used with either one or two layers of board, these will provide routing solutions as well as ensuring exceptional fire safety and acoustic performance.

Additional sound ratings and thermal performance can be achieved by changing the type of board used or by insulating the void.

Ratings can be provided to suit differing floor constructions that will provide increased sound, thermal and fire performance. In addition, we also use similar systems which are installed with acoustic hangers as well as laying grid systems.

We install a wide variety of insulation materials, depending on the need of the client.

Raised access flooring is a system for both new build and refurbishment projects offering a service void and leveling facility and low floor height solution. Supported on adjustable steel pedestals to achieve voids in excess of 1500mm.

Panels are supplied either plain to receive an onsite finish or can be specified pre-finished with HPL, vinyl or carpet if required. The main benefits of this system are;

Grimes Finishings Limited is an approved applicator of Weber Render systems, so we can offer a full range of One Coat systems, through application of our Coloured Monocouche Renders.

The term "Monocouche" literally translates as "one-coat" and has been adopted by the European cement render industry in an attempt to distinguish modern renders and their application methods from those of traditional renders.

It refers to the development of more advanced render formulations that can be applied in one coat to form and cure as one monolithic layer on the elevation of a building.

In addition, we carry out traditional sand/cement renders either ready mixed or mixed on site. We also use proprietary products such as OCR and Fibrocem. We also finish traditional render systems with paint or a stippled resin based finishes such as Hi-build, Glixstone and Cullaplast.

Our floor screeding systems are specially designed for all installations including commercial, industrial and residential use and all our systems comply with accredited Quality Assurance schemes.

The many types of screed systems we offer include, reinforced screeds, flow screed, all types of insulated screeds and floor levelling compound systems.
